Bob Crosley: "If Al-Queda members were walking into US resturants, shopping malls, bus stations, etc. with bombs strapped to their chests in a concerted effort to kill as many Americans as possible, what would be our reaction as a nation?" [Scripting News]
I don't know about you, but I would invade and surround every single place where I suspect the terrorist are hiding and I wouldn't withdraw my troops until I was sure that the attacks would stop.

Wrong about the iPod
Charles Haddad is a good writer that understands the Mac, but his latest article in BusinessWeek: iPod could be 'Trojan horse' into Wintel, is simply wrong. Most PCs don't have FireWire, so they can't connect the iPod. Apple may get to sell more iPods if they make a PC version, but it won't sell more Macs (which is what Apple should care about). He also say that Apple is probably working on a Windows iPod, I've bet before and I am betting again... It won't happen.

The Cancer of Suicide Bombing. The foreign ministers of the Arab League meeting in Cairo today should distance themselves fully from suicide bombing.
Last week an 18-year-old woman, a straight-A high school senior engaged to be married and hoping to become a journalist, blew herself up in a Jerusalem supermarket, killing two Israelis, including a girl her age. Only the most bankrupt leadership [~] spiritually, intellectually and politically [~] allows this macabre, self-delusional act of ruin to pass without anguished condemnation.
