Charges Dropped Against Man Wearing Peace T-Shirt. GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (AP) -- Officials at a mall where a man was arrested for refusing to remove an anti-war T-shirt asked Wednesday that trespassing charges against him be dropped. By The Associated Press. [New York Times: NYT HomePage]
Have we gone mad? Now a man with a "Peace on Earth" T-Shirt can't go to a mall? Why not? The worst part is that he bought the T-Shirt on that same mll... This is enough reason not to attack Iraq... I can see it now...President Bush addresses the nation... "My Fellow Americans, In view that you're going nuts oer the war with Iraq we have decided to cancel it... We will resume our war plan when the insanity stops...

I do not follow the reasoning on these two stories (Going to War and Weaning Off Google). My problem in both cases is the same. Google hasn't done anything bad (yet), yes, they bought blogger but they have the right to expand their business in whatever way they see fit. By the same token, Saddam hasn't done anything bad (at least to other countries) in more than 10 years... Why should we try to stop him now? Why him and not North Korea or Venezuela? Is it Oil? Is it Nukes? Is it Both? or is it Bush?
