Everybody looked at me. Eyes wide open, jaws dropping. They couldn't believe I had said it. After all, this was the Tech Committee of a medium-sized enterprise. But I had to ask... "Has anyone made an analysis of whether it makes business sense to use Microsoft products?" I don't think anyone has. Now, don't get me wrong, I think Microsoft products are very good, I have no problem using them, but the price is just amazing! We have to pay more in CALs than in servers... Yes, that is how Microsoft beat Novell, but now it is just too much. All servers should be unrestricted, the per license, per service fee has got to go. By the way, our servers come without OS, which really makes the price stand out... 4:54:05 PM  What do you think? ( Thoughts) Who linked? []
