Venezuela to speed up land reform. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez vows to accelerate his controversial programme of land redistribution. [BBC News | News Front Page | UK Edition]
There hasn't been any "redistribution", land has been taken away, but none have been given. Who is the biggest land owner in Venezuela (both Urban and Rural)? The government! And they are accumulating more and more under the excuse of redistribution. Very few people want to go to those lands, of the ones who do, none have received land for themselves.
