Moving House 3 - Purchased floor tiles for the kitchen and dining room. Ordered carpet for the living room. New kitchen cupboards will be installed tomorrow afternoon. Put the first coat of paint on the walls in the girls room.
Accepted the quotation of a moving company, who seemed the most competent and was well priced. I was happy to learn that they had a depot at Ballina - only 100kms from Casino. Augers well.
It was announced the the key leaders of our church that we were leaving last night. I'm not sure if the sustained applause was for my fourteen years of service, or for the cake that was brought for supper, or the fact that I was leaving :-) Many sad "we'll miss you guys" and lots of "what a fantastic opportunity's"
Still to come - packing, tiling, painting, a garage sale and many trips to the tip!
