Robert Reich, former Labor Secretary, has a new book out. It is quite good. Have you wondered what happened to corporate loyalty, or even the 40 hr work week? Its all there. Along with models of corporate and individual behavior to survive and prosper.

Do you ever wonder what happens to you when your 15 minutes of fame arrive early in your life? Somehow I was conditioned to think that life consists of ever increasing accomplishments. Nonesense! Its an ever changing theme. I'm pretty sure that Adam would concur with me. My own 15 minutes arrived when I was 17 years old. Perhaps this tale is better told in a story - along with all the links I can find on it.

Why this blog? Maybe you've heard of Sir Lawrence Olivier, one of the world foremost actors? He is as "british proper" as you can imagine. He was once asked what part of acting speaks to him. Is it exploring new frontiers? Taking on new roles? Does he relish stretching his talent? He replied :" None of these reasons. When I act there is but one simple thought on my mind: Look at me! Look at me! ..."

So there you have it. The only reason why I spend time in this medium is because I hope someone will read it.
