NewsNetWire is a newsreader for "Rss" feeds. Very slick. For OSX. You can subscribe to my weblog wih it as well, It's the first entry under 'Personal Weblogs'. [Adam Curry: Adam Curry's Weblog]

Looks pretty slick. It's great to have Brent writing OS X software.

Good morning weblog fans. I got a few emails overnight about a project John, Jake and Lawrence are doing with a famous publication while I'm reading books and watching movies, walking and recuperating. Murphy-willing we'll be hosting thousands of weblogs under a new brand quite soon. The nice thing for me is that UserLand can move forward while my body fixes itself.  [Scripting News]
Go UserLand!

OS X Day 1: Enter the iBook. O’Reilly’s Nathan Torkington: “I plugged in the digital video camera (editing be damned!) and it Just Worked. I built wget and it Just Worked. I downloaded VM and it Just Worked. I plugged in a three-button mouse and it Just Worked.” [ranchero.com] ' I came to realize something: I'd been with Microsoft for so long, who are complacent and hoard their customers, that I'd forgotten what it's like to use an operating system built by people who want it to cooperate with the rest of the world. It's good.'
Another lost soul sees the light.

Keeping the Worms Out of Apple. Apple, historically, never did quite as good or public a job of fixing security problems in Mac OS. In the last year, however, they've entirely redeemed themselves through frequent and well documented security updates to Mac OS X. [GlennLog]

Bush rides the Whitewater. Through the length of Bill Clinton's presidency, the press scrounged for details on the arcane Whitewater controversy. Will it do the same for Harken Energy? [Salon.com]

Toronto Jew murdered by skinheads
A father of six was stabbed to death at an Israeli-owned pizzeria early Sunday in what investigators say might have been a hate-motivated crime against a random victim. F U L L   S T O R Y
[CBC News] 'Police issued a first-degree murder warrant for 20-year-old Christopher Steven McBride, who may be with Mercedes Asante, 19 (also known as Sylvia Asante). Police did not release the name of the third suspect.

The killing is Toronto's 16th homicide of 2002.

Is it wrong for me to hate skinheads?
