You don't have a PVR yet ? Just today my aggregator says inluminent got one and Jenny bought her third Replay. I recently bought my second, an Echostar PVR 721. It kicks the behind of the previous model we had which had Microsoft doing the software. You have never seen so many defects in you life. Well since you are probably using Windows to read this then you might have. I usually say it was the most pathetic piece of consumer electronics equipment I ever purchased. Despite the defects, a PVR will change your TV viewing life. I don't watch much but when I do watch it, I want to watch what I want to watch.
Get one. Tivo ? Replay ? Dish ? Now.

A Prescription Plan Hailed as a Model Is a Budget Casualty. To cover budget shortfalls, Oregon will cut off medications to schizophrenics, manic-depressives, drug addicts and others who are poor and have no health care. [via New York Times: NYT HomePage] // Healthcare in this country is sad. Politicians in the country cutting costs by cutting healthcare benefits is worse. How far down is this country going to go ? Will the US ever pull out of this funk ? And how much is Dubbya blowing each and every day playing chicken with Saddam ?
