Down and out today or well yesterday as I glance at the time on this little data pack I'm carrying today.   Went in mid-day today for the ongoing chronic cough expedition and they took a look down to see what is going on down there.  At the same time they stuck this thing down my throat to I believe the top of the stomach to measure the PH looking for reflux problems.  This all started a little of over a year ago with Bell's Palsy.  So I just googled this test, quick summery here, this one is better with the nifty picture.  This site even has instructions for the buttons on the little battery powered pack which is collecting data.  Too bad the hospital has me writing everything down and not pushing the buttons.  Typical user interface which was poorly designed so some lucky person is going to get to type in all the times I ate, layed down, etc......Oh boy this is fun.  They actually said one might go to work with this thing to have a normal day.  Not going to happen, the battery pack is huge, my palm would work better.  The thing is taped to my nose.   It looks like post surgery.  Oh well, like 15 hours to go :-)
