The most annoying thing just happened, and has been happening since I've been here. At our office the front door is always locked, because we're kind of located in the ghetto. Actually, where I live is more so the ghetto, but our little lane is pretty grimey. Sometime's you'll arrive at to work in the morning to find a couple of bum's drinking beer on our doorstep. Then, later on, the smell of the pot they're smoking will drift up into the office. Very funny, actually. So anyways, the office door is always locked.

Now there's this guy Brad who works upstairs. I don't know him, or really know what he does, (it's probably something "strategic." This means something besides building or selling our products.) but the thing about this guy is: Brad cannot open the office door for himself. Everyday, when we hear the doorbell ring, it's either fedex or Brad. So someone on our floor has to stop whatever they're doing, get up from their desk, walk to the doorway and buzz him in.

Now, when other people forget their key, and someone buzzes them in, its polite to look up the stairs at that person and say "Thanks." No way, not with this guy. Brad must think that he's so important that it's part of the development group's job description to open the door for him everyday.

As I was clicking through my bookmarks this morning, getting up to speed on all my friends' lives, I almost clicked on my own weblog, "to see what's going on in my own life" ...
