I guess it's time to drag the ol' blog into the new year. I'm currently in Waterloo, living at Matt's house (that's 161 Erb) and one week into another term of school at UW. Most of you know these things, but I'm writing them out because it's funny how often, when I'm in Winnipeg visiting, even my own family makes comments like: "So *where* have you been for the last 4 months?" (!)
I've been in school for a while now and so far I haven't done any work at all. However, I have played a lot of foosball. Yesterday I met some NITI friends at bomber for a solid hour of playing. At first bomber night this past wednesday a bunch of us were playing some solid foos despite the influence of many many drinks.
There is a place called McMullen's on King St. that has a *free* table, but most of the time we pay $1 per game. Up until today, I found this situation tolerable since I was under the impression that a quality home table costs at least $1500. However Matt did some research and found the college version of the same table at all the bars for only $795. Now that could be within my budget once my tax refund comes through. Imagine having that in your own home ... I don't think I would ever leave the house again!
