Writing in The Guardian, Fuad Nahdi who is the publisher of the Muslim magazine, Q-News basically states that if the West does not back Muslim demands concerning Israel then there will be suicide attacks by angry Muslims in the West. Beyond the threats within the piece it is interesting to note there was not a single word in the editorial suggesting that maybe the land of Israel does not solely belong to Muslims and that Jews are not interlopers and therefore Muslims and not just Israelis must take actions for peace. A rather pathetic display all in all. 12:31:16 AM ![]() |
Please explain again why suicide bombers are driven by despair over their situation. From The Guardian: Mr Sharif, 27, who apparently fought passers-by outside the Tel Aviv bar to escape after his belt containing explosives failed to explode, has two young children. The youngest of six children of Kashmiri immigrants, he attended a £12,000-a-year prep school and had a westernised upbringing in which the family preferred to speak English at home. 12:30:07 AM ![]() |
Israelinsider reports that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon told visiting U.S. Congressman Tom Lantos that Israeli intelligence provided the first information that Pfc. Jessica Lynch and her comrades were in the Nasariyah hospital in Iraq from which she was rescued. So far, such a role has not been officially confirmed. So – aid to Israel useful now? 12:29:13 AM ![]() |
Israel will bar members of the pro-Palestinian Solidarity Movement (ISM) from entering the country and will try to expel at least some of its members currently in Israel and Palestinian areas. In addition to having interfered with Israeli Army activities the recent suicide bombing of a Tel Aviv pub by a British national raises the possibility that terrorists might use the ISM as a cover to enter Israel. Update: This appears to be the case. At a minimum the terrorists took part in events related to the ISM and may have pretended to be ISM members while in Palestinian areas. 12:05:38 AM ![]() |
