Apple has announced iTunes for Windows while a legal Napster 2.0 was released. In Canada Puretracks experienced opening problems as its initial usage by the public was greater than expected.

Reviving the name Conservative Party of Canada, the Progressive Conservatives and the Canadian Alliance are planning to merge to create a united right-wing alternative to the Liberal Party of Canada. The key reason for the merger: the fear that a more centrist Paul Martin led Liberal Party would wipe out both parties unless they united.

Given the quick arrests in Gaza of the people said to be responsible for the bombing of a US diplomatic convoy the Palestinian Authority cannot claim that it does not have the ability to stop terrorist attacks or at least hunt down those responsible.

If they desire peace, the Palestinians will stop or arrest those who attack Israelis and therefore start to show they can be partners in a peace process.
