"Every picture does not tell a story" says of the key participants. More information is needed "to give context and value to many things we see." Another key participant says "I started to understand that pictures are more than just pictures." The first participant warns "I have no qualifications whatsoever" while the second states "inexperience should never stand in the way of an interesting experiment." This is the age of the digital camera where one can view shots immediately and keep or delete them easily - not good? - just take another - you'll know when you've captured what you were after. As the photographer (or as they call it, the "author"), you know what you're thinking about your subject and when the shot matches that story within your mind, it's a go... So - that seems to be the concept behind today's pick - by telling the story behind each photo, today's pick goes beyond the typical gallery - it's as much about storytelling as it is about photography - most of all, it seems to be about experimenting. Add a great site design with excellent functionality and you've got just what it takes to enjoy all this wonderful, original content... [Today's Pick]
A big thumbs up to Simone at Evectors RadioTools for RssDistiller! I installed it earlier this morning and after only about 10 minutes, I was using it to XMLize content from coolstop. It's easy to configure and use - very cool! I've got some great ideas for it...
