I've updated the custom OPML mugs page to show a sample of what each image looks like against the specific color background it's made for and will be adding a number of new variations for different color backgrounds today, including darker backgrounds. Stay tuned...
Update 9:47AM EST: Added 4 more background colors to the choices. There's now 6 different background colors available -- a small and large version for each.
