One of the things that bugs me the most is people or organisations that make it difficult for me to give them money. It's not like I want to give money away, I'd much rather it stayed in the bank, so why is it sometimes soooo difficult ? At the moment we are in the process of selling our house, we have exchanged contracts and have to move out by the 7th March. The house we were going to buy has fallen through (another instance of difficulty in parting with money) so we are going to rent a house for a while until we can find one we want to buy. Fine so far. We've found a house we want to rent, it's pricey but is clean, has enough rooms and somewhere to park the car - it's also in an area where I can get ADSL. Now we want to sign the lease and give the landlord a shed load of cash for the privilege. Is he playing ball ? No, instead he's making things difficult, not responding to the letting agent's calls and not confirming appointments to meet us. What is wrong with this guy, here we are ready with a cheque for more than the cost of my PowerBook and he doesn't seem in the slightest bit interested. Grrrrrrrrrr.
Update: We managed to meet up with the guy and it looks like everything is going ahead. Time to start looking at DSL routers methinks... comment 12:19:56 PM
