"What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children - not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women - not merely peace in our time but peace for all time." -- JFK

Friends don't let friends read email with Outlook.

Insecure Outlook features -- designed to drive rivals out of business -- spread email mayhem across the internet. Safe email is plain text email with no ability to execute code, and no ability to fetch resources (images, for example) from the internet. The combination of the huge volume of spam and the huge number of viruses put you at risk.

This c/net article gives the latest twist: Klez email worm delivers Chernobyl virus. Thank you Bill. Now that you've put Netscape out of business, how about fixing this?

When you use Outlook, you not only put yourself at risk, you increase the risk to everyone on the internet. This is the nature of immorality: for some small personal gain or to avoid effort, you make everyone else worse off. You -- personally -- choose.

Friends don't let friends surf on Internet Explorer.

<fud class="true">If you didn't patch IE this week, you are at risk: your hard drive could be wiped clean, your identity could be stolen, illegal photographs could be placed on your hard drive, and the police notified.</fud>

This article at Salon just hints at the potential for exploiting IE's wretched security. Remember, most of the security flaws were "features" designed to drive competitors out of business. Just say no.
