unScripted: Data Types Part II: Making Your Data an Offer it Can't Refuse

MacScripter.net: "This article expands on the previous lesson about data types and takes things out of the kitchen and onto the streets to show how to take one bit of data in its original form coerce it to another type of data. With examples of date, number, and text coercion, plus colorful metaphor of other aspects of coercion, unScripted makes an offer data can't refuse and demonstrates the fine art of AppleScript data manipulation."
