Airing Sunday, 6/6/03 at 9:30 PM ET (6:30 PM PT) RHINO HERE: Did you hear that Journalist Arnon Regular wrote in the June 26 edition of Ha'aretz (Israel's largest daily), that he has minutes of a meeting among top-level Palestinian leaders, including Prime Minister Mahmoud Abas in which shrub said, "God told me to strike at al Qaida and I struck them, and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did..." NEED PROOF YA SAY? GO TO: God Told Me To Strike or http://www.commondreams.org/views03/0630-04.htm So RHINO'S BOTTOM LINE is a well thought out examination of a Daddy, by his youngster, about why the U.S. has been waging war. As it must, it concludes with Daddy saying, "Well, you see, God personally speaks to George W. Bush and tells him what to do." It's a great read all the way through. The Washington Post's web site had a contest for it's readers to write in with their ideas of just what happened to Saddam's Weapons Of Mass Destruction. The top 10 entries are worth the read. Rhino sez, "have a great 4th" - and to his Indian friends, he sez, "hang tough - it'll be over soon". Where Are the WMD? The Winners Are . . . By Al Kamen, washingtonpost.com, 6/30/03 Finally, we have some solid clues as to the whereabouts of Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction. Hundreds of Loop Fans submitted excellent suggestions, which we'll be forwarding to the appropriate authorities. Here are the top 10 entries, in no particular ranking: * "He changed the invoices and had them shipped to, and stored at, the National Records Center in Suitland, Md. All we need to find them is the right reference number. I believe they are next to the box which has the Ark of the Covenant." -- Alfred H. Novotne, an attorney with the Army at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin. * "Saddam Hussein's stockpiles of weapons have been ground into radioactive bird feed in order to raise a species of super chickens capable of scratching out simple subtraction problems in the dirt. These new chickens will be known as Capons of Math Deduction." -- Lewis Roth, assistant executive director of Americans for Peace Now... Questions & Answers about Foreign Policy (and the U.S. Invasion of Iraq) © 2003 anarchie bunker Q: Daddy, why did we have to attack Iraq? A: Because they had weapons of mass destruction. Q: But the inspectors didn't find any weapons of mass destruction. A: That's because the Iraqis were hiding them. Q: And that's why we invaded Iraq? A: Yep. Invasions always work better than inspections. Q: But after we invaded them, we STILL didn't find any weapons of mass destruction, did we? A: That's because the weapons are so well hidden. Don't worry, we'll find something, probably right before the 2004 election. Q: Why did Iraq want all those weapons of mass destruction? A: To use them in a war, silly. Q: I'm confused. If they had all those weapons that they planned to use in a war, then why didn't they use any of those weapons when we went to war with them?...
