QUOTE OF THE DAY "High officials in this government, who I assume were not just rogue officials acting on their own, made substantial contributions to the support and well-being of two of these terrorists and facilitated their ability to plan, practice and then execute the tragedy of September 11." - - Senator Bob Graham D-FL (Referring to recent Congressional Report on 9/11 which Graham co-wrote & which implicates the Saudi Royal Family) KNOW YOUR HISTORY - JULY 28 1914 - - Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia, beginning World War I RHINO HERE: The 3 Roman Catholic nuns who broke into an unmanned Minuteman III missile silo near Greeley, Colorado last October 6 & splashed blood around & hammered on the silo doors with a household size hammer were sentenced on Friday to prison terms of 30 to 41 months. At their trial in April they had testified that the protest was a "symbolic disarmament" & didn't endanger national defense. Judge Blackburn claimed it was "incredible and inexcusable" that the nun activists would place U.S. Air Force security teams, who responded to the scene, in harm's way. So the guys protecting these weapons of mass destruction are so whimpy that they could get hurt by 3 pacifist nuns? Rhino sez, "Get real Judge". Nuns Sentenced to Prison for Colorado Nuclear Protest by Keith Coffman, Reuters, July 26, 2003 http://www.commondreams.org/headlines03/0726-01.htm This weekend it was revealed that a 28 page segment of the 900 page Congressional Report on the events of 9/11/01 have been classified, not for public consumption. Some who have read the classified text say it constitutes a "searing indictment of how Saudi Arabia's ruling elite have, under the guise of support for Islamic charities, distributed millions of dollars to terrorists through an informal network of Saudi nationals, including some in the United States." Rhino concludes without much brain power that shrub doesn't want this out cause it would point to his father's long time business partners and because it might wake the sleeping giant into realizing the Iraqi's weren't behind 9/11. Classified Section of Sept. 11 Report Faults Saudi Rulers By DAVID JOHNSTON, NY Times, 7/27/03 http://www.nytimes.com/2003/07/26/national/26SAUD.html?th White House Criticized for Censoring Sept. 11 Report by Randy Fabi, Reuters, 7/27/03 http://www.commondreams.org/headlines03/0727-03.htm RHINO'S BOTTOM LINE is an Amnesty International update on the situation in the Balkans. It includes an appeal to write an Amnesty Urgent Action message as well as a speech by Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly President Peter Schieder urging the Parliament of Serbia and Montenegro "to persist in its efforts to change its status within Europe - from being a part of an old problem to being a partner in new solutions".

REMEMBERING SREBRENICA From Amnesty International This month marks eight years since the massacre of thousands of Bosnians at Srebrenica. Srebrenica was a UN "safe area" during the Bosnian war where tens of thousands of civilians had taken refuge. The area was overrun in July 1995 by Serb forces. Over 7,000 boys and men of Bosnian origin were believed to have been killed in the aftermath of the fall of Srebrenica. However, the increasing number of human remains still being recovered from mass graves in the area suggests that as many as 10,000 may have been killed. Additionally, conservative estimates suggest that about 17,000 persons in Bosnia-Herzegovina are still recorded as missing as a result of the strife. Amnesty International has campaigned for the resolution of all cases of "disappearances," and for all those responsible to be brought to justice. Last March, in a case brought by dozens of relatives of the "disappeared," the Human Rights Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina ordered the Republika Srpska (The Bosnian Serb Republic) to immediately disclose all information that could establish the fate and whereabouts of the men and boys of Srebrenica and on the location of mass graves containing the bodies of Srebrenica victims. The Republika Srpska was also ordered to thoroughly investigate the events at Srebrenica in order to bring perpetrators to justice and to publish its findings by the beginning of September 2003. According to the most recently available information, the Republika Srpska authorities have not even begun an investigation or made any information available to the families. ACT NOW! - Urge the Republika Srpska authorities to implement the decision of the Human Rights Chamber. "Since Serbia and Montenegro joined the Council of Europe, significant progress has been made in terms of co-operation with the Tribunal in The Hague. I should like to encourage the authorities to continue to observe their international obligations to the full, while doing their best to improve public understanding of the Tribunal's role. This is, first and foremost, in the interest of the country. If those responsible for the worst crimes imaginable are allowed to walk free, or are even treated as heroes, the past wrongs of the few will continue to pollute the future of all," he said...
