iComposer? [Meerkat: An Open Wire Service]
Apple is continuing it's aquistion of software companies, this time it's Emagic, who makes software for music composers. Good Lord, these are the guys who make Logic, which is one of the permier audio composition tools... Tie this in with Final Cut Pro and you have a pretty sweet production, um, suite. make a "cheap" version of it for iComposer for home movies. makes the Mac look mighty tempting, and I wonder what is going to be announced at the next Macworld show.

Here's hoping you feel better Jenny. I've thrown my back out many times now, and it's never fun. The key I've found to keeping it healthy is walking regularly (1-2 miles a day, moderate to brisk pace) and doing some light ab/back workouts. You don't have to go crazy with it, but you have to do something.

This is both great and horrible at the same time. It's great because the preice point is not incredibly high ($69.99 - $79.99) but it's horrinble for me because they are not supporting the memory stick.
