Apparently Aggie does not work through a proxy. Much thanks to the two Aggie users that took the time to report this problem to me, the feedback and bug reports are invaluable. I hope to have this fixed soon. We'll the code is already changed, just waiting on test results to ensure that the problem is really fixed. If you are behind a proxy and would like to beta test this fix please let me know.
Just for the Windows folks: Today I discovered the joys of PuTTY, a free Win32 Telnet/SSH client. The telnet client that ships with Windows is poor to the point of being useless. The features on PuTTY are just too long to list here, but the one that helps me the most at work is the RAW mode which is very useful when trying to debug your implementations of some of the popular internet protocols. All yea who live on unix type OS's and who have never had to deal with such a lame set of tools can stop your snickering and go back to work. Move along, nothing to see here.
