Today at work I attended a presentation on software testing patterns. I've sorta been aware of the patterns movement in various other fields (primarily software design) but hadn't heard about patterns being applied to software testing. It turns out that there have already been 3 software testing patterns workshops (PoST or Patterns of Software Testing) attended by some of the heavy hitters of the software testing community. On a different topic, I signed up for Weinberg and Weinberg's Problem Solving Leadership conference in September. I've been wanting to attend this for a long while and it looks like I'm finally going to get to go. Good thing, too. The web site says September's conference will be the last one...
