My experience in the past two months tells me that Radio makes it very easy to decentralize content to many different web servers.  Therefore, a big echo from me to Dave Winer's clarification of misinformation about Radio's ability to work with servers other than Userland. 

On the discussion thread at Burning Bird, the source of the incorrect information, Simon Fell says: "You're not tied to hosting at Userland with Radio." It's so obviously true. Here's a screen shot of the FTP prefs page in Radio. Just click on the checkbox, enter your information, and it upstreams where ever you want. Also a little-known fact, you can serve from the machine you author on. If you're running Radio, try clicking on this link. Navigate through the calendar. It works. For a low traffic site, or a site on an Intranet behind a firewall, you might even want to use it this way. I use Radio to maintain three "sites" in my public work: this one, hosted by Userland; a set of pages about recent opinions, etc. on the WV Supreme Court's public site via FTP; and a separate set of pages for internal consumption behind the court's firewall, also via FTP to the intranet server.    All it takes is some design thinking, proper use of categories, and slight modifications to the appropriate #upstream.xml file.  If you're running Radio, read this help file for more information.)
