Darrin Woods has written a lengthy article for Network World comparing various video streaming options.   We currently use Microsoft Windows Media to prepare our webcast.  I'm particularly interested in Apple's Quicktime Streaming Server, and its open source Darwin Streaming Server -- according to Woods, better performance with no server tax.  Always a good option in state government.  11:42:37 AM  [Permanent Link]     

Domestic Functional Standards Out for Comment

Adding another topical area to the list of standards for state case management systems, the COSCA/NACM Joint Technology Committee recently voted to approve the Domestic Relations Functional Standards as a proposed standard.  The public comment period closes May 17, 2002, after which the proposed standard will be forwarded to the COSCA and NACM Boards for approval.
