Law, technology, and the courts

I posted three new opinions this afternoon.   I also created a criminal case updates page.  I hope to expand the topical categories significantly.   3:20:29 PM  [Permanent Link]

Posting New Opinions
I'll be posting summaries of new opinions as a separate category in this weblog beginning later today.  The Court released opinions on a schedule that alternates each week between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.  This is a "two o'clock week."  I've scoured the various RSS feeds out there, but so far I haven't found any legal feeds, that is, the bricks and mortar of the law straight from the source -- the courts or the legislative bodies.  Most of the feeds are news oriented.  I'm wondering if the item description structure could be extended, perhaps using elements from standard markup for court documents, to describe the content of new cases in a more robust fashion, while maintaining the spirit of "simple syndication."  9:15:33 AM  [Permanent Link]
