Whew. No posts to this weblog for nearly two weeks, due to the annual maelstrom of statistical reports, lengthy argument dockets, the rush of rule revisions, combined with lovely spring weather (peas, onions, and lettuce duly planted), track meets to attend, stairs to build, and, I'm afraid, more than a touch of the disaggregating funk: an irritation with newsreaders and weblogs, combined with a sense of unease at all the fertile thoughts and material therein that I cannot fully absorb, or respond to, or even remember.

So, I just left the weblog and aggregator turned off, basked in the free time, finished building my stairs, and wrote some poems in the time I might spend with blogs and newsreaders. A very good curative, which I recommend highly. More on the poems at a later date.
