Earlier this week, the Court learned that a national testing agency made an error in scoring the February bar examination. (See, e.g. this story.) Following rescoring, officials at the Board of Law Examiners announced today that the pass/fail status of West Virginia examinees was unaffected by the recalculated scores.

A bar admission ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, May 14 will continue as planned. Nearly 50 new lawyers are scheduled to take the formal oath for admission to the legal profession in West Virginia on that day.
