Argh... My aggregator! Jon's last story for Byte on personal RSS aggregators makes me wonder if I should go through the trouble of trying a different aggregator. Ever since I updated to Radio 8.0.8 and installed evectors'RssDistiller, my aggregator has ceased to run consistently. I took RssDistiller out of my tools directory and things seem to be back to normal now. I'm just mad cause I still don't have a VersionTracker news feed. I guess I could go subscribe to ranchero.com's mac news feed, but I don't want everything else, just the VersionTracker stuff. (I'm not sure whether Radio or RssDistiller caused the problem cause I threw caution to the wind and took them both on at the same time. It's easier for me to remove a tool than to downgrade Radio for now. Maybe at some point I'll try both to find the real culprit. Right now I don't have time. Why can't things just work? You know, without any effort on my part. ;)
