Summer always disappears too fast
10 days left of summer (for me) Classes start up again on Aug 21. I'm somewhat excited to get back to my computer science studies, but this semester we have to use Java. I don't like Java (almost entirely because of the syntax). I think a big part of the class (CP SC 2020) is going to be re-implementing the collection classes (dictionaries, linked-lists, etc. I don't remember what Java calls them), so I guess Java might be the best language out there for that purpose (you don't have to worry about memory management). I'm really hoping we spend some time on directed/non-directed graphs and traversal. We were supposed to cover it last semester, but ran out of time. I'm going to try to blog the whole experience as long as I'm not too overloaded this semester. I guess we'll see what happens though.
