Ed Pimentel told me yesterday he had experimented problems with his weblog's templates when trying aR's outline style for his home page, and then trying to uninstal aR.
To help him understand what actually happened, I've published a step by step description of what aR's code does at installation and uninstallation time, as well as when weblog template modifications are requested.
I hope this will help anyone spotting an unexpected behavior in aR send me an accurate report, so that I may improve the tool. It may also be of interest to Usertalk developers planning to play with Radio templates in a tool.
Update: I now know why Ed wanted aR uninstalled: it would appear that on Windows systems, posting a news item from the news aggregator page into the local home page fails when aR is installed and the (horrible) Wizzy Editor is turned on. The page displays an error message like this : Can't post to weblog because the text of the post is empty.
I am going to investigate, but it will likely take time as I try to avoid Windows systems as much as I can.
