This is a first experiment in cross posting between s l a m on UserLand's RCS and Salon's new RCS.
I've created a new 'slam in salon' category in my 'regular' weblog, then copied the templates and #uptream.xml file from the Salon version.
For now, when upstreaming to the Salon RCS, I get this error:
Can't upstream because "Can't evaluate the expression because the name "yourUpstreamFolderUrl" hasn't been defined."
Let's investigate a little...
Apart from their usernums, the upstream xml files only differ in the specification of the upstream server's URL, radio.xmlstoragesystem.com for UserLand, rcs.salon.com for Salon.
I wonder where this yourUpstreamFolderUrl variable is defined...
Turns out the #prefs.txt file in my 'slam in salon' category didn't have a #category "slam in salon" directive, but a #title directive instead. This is now corrected. Does it change anything ?
