> Zoe's New Site + Release

I missed Zoe's update to version 0.2.3 on Sept. 3rd. I actually had never seen Zoe's new site, as hosted by eVectors.

Reading John Robb this morning made me curious. Well, Raphael has spent a good deal of time explaining what he is up to on his site.

Zoe is not only the future of email - that I already knew and proclaimed - it's also the future of a whole bunch of desktop information organizers. But that's a story for a later time...

> Site Logging And Monitoring

Thanks to Jon Udell for reminding me what s l a m stands for :-)

He's right of course, I've always been fascinated by outlines, and he's the one responsible for exposing me to Radio Userland and its semi-hidden outliner.

Just when I thought I had got over my addiction - I spent a lot more time without More than Dave has spent without smoke - bam, I relapsed :-)

Well, it's comforting to know that, according to one of the Surgeon General's lesser known warnings, outlining can seriously increase your productivity.

As for logging and monitoring, I'm still and always doing a lot of it, I even use all kind of DHTML, RSS and XSLT tricks for that, but it'll take some time before I'm available to publish anything about it.

> All Is Not Quiet On The RSS Front

It looks like if I'm going to wait a bit before unleashing activeAggregator, my XSLT + Javascript based, wedges rigged, news feed browser.

Thanks to Mark and Rael, I've learned a lot more about the RDF Site Summary vs Really Simple Syndication controversy. I'm all in favor of Dave's move towards an RSS 2.0 specification, incorporating Name Spaces.

With the hindsight of the last 2 years - I didn't even suspected RSS existed back then - I think Sam's suggestion of both a transitional and a strict variety of the spec, à la HTML 4.0, is brillant.

I hope Dave will take it into account.
