Joining the audio generation...
Stopped at a computer store in Concord, NH (After spending an hour in Best Buy NOT buying a Playstations 2 (Now that the price has dropped to almost reasonable amounts it was very tempting ) and not buying a new car radio) that I'd never been in before.... that actually sells Macintosh related items.
I picked up an iMic for my iBook.... and I've now dug up an old microphone (pre-Plaintalk) that someone in the Knoxville office gave me (along with a couple dead Powerbook 100's I merged into a working PB 100 and a Mac Classic II), un-opened in it's box. The date on the box ? 1990. Seems to work though I
don't have any software to test it with other than something I just grabbed from Versiontracker.
Not sure what I'm going to do with it... once I use it to copy some tapes I made a few years ago (non-commercial) so I can transfer them to CD eventually. 4x60 minutes.
I also gazed semi-lustfully at an Airport card... the base station seemed a bit pricey.
