Extend your Home Wi-Fi with the new "Cantenna" - this is too cool, and I think I'm going to have to try it out. I recently moved to a two-story house that has poor reception on the bottom floor (WAP is upstairs). This looks like it's worth a try.

Wi-Fi for Handheld PDAs - yeah, that's what I'm talking about. My Treo 300 is not capable of accepting an 802.11b card, but I'm sure one day that will be the next step. Highspeed websurfing on your PDA will be cool. I'd like to see one in action. I assume the processer in the PDA would be the bottleneck for speed performance.

Oops! Honey, I forgot to redact the document! - giving your opponent a document with sensitive information exposed is not a good idea. That's why people use black markers. But what about electronic documents? Anyone ever hear of "meta-data"? Please, people. Let's be careful out there. If you are an attorney and don't know what I'm talking about (especially if you use Microsoft Word) read this.

Well I guess this explains the dodgy service from my new wireless provider - Sprint PCS to lay off 1,660. "The wireless carrier announces companywide changes that will thin management ranks by 1,660 and expand the availability of the company's business-focused services." [via CNET News.com]
