Another day spent laying about reading and watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer DVD's. I'm actually feeling a bit sharper this evening. The anesthetic seems to be clearing up a tad.

Actually, it's my theory that the anesthetic got a bit of nudge this afternoon. I decided it was time to turn on my interstim implant - an action which is done via a remote control unit that you place on your butt over the implant zone.

Well, when I hit the "on button, I received a shock that was off the scale. Way beyond cattle prod. And of course, I couldn't get the "off button" to work. So I was fumbling around, swearing (the "f word" might have loudly escaped my lips more than once) just frantically trying to turn the damn thing off. I finally found the off button after what seemed like 5 minutes but it was probably more like 5 seconds. I then sagged into a depressed heap. Sometimes this stuff is no fun.

However, I think the shock to my system, so to speak, did zotz the anesthetic a bit. I feel a little better this evening. Although I am a bit sore in the sensitive zone.
