I've been reading Scripting News for years, and have enjoyed the ruminations of blogging community luminaries such as Dave, Doc, Glenn, Dan Gillmor, etc. With the introduction of Radio, I can no longer resist taking part.
Although I currently make my living writing software manuals and help systems, I've always fancied myself a real writer, despite the lack of any evidence to back up that claim. So here's a chance to self publish and at the same time get to play around with scripting a fascinating application. Hog heaven.
At work I can pretty well concentrate on one project for months at a time, but in real life, I'm a lot more scattered. I have no idea where this blog will go, but I suspect "scattered" will end up describing it pretty well.
The journey is difficult, immense. We will travel as far as we can, but we cannot in one lifetime see all that we would like to see or to learn all that we hunger to know.
