Drive to Ban Gay Marriage Is Accused of Duping Signers. Some Massachusetts residents say they were tricked into signing a petition to ban gay marriages when they thought they were supporting an anti-horse slaughter measure. By Pam Belluck. [New York Times: National]
This is simply unbelievable. Are there no depths of hypocrisy to which KKKristian ultra-right wing conservadolts won’t lower themselves? What a bunch of self righteous assholes.

Dusty

Recall of the Wild. To prevent listlessness in captive animals, New York zookeepers are now having them work for their supper and other amenities. By Barbara Stewart. [New York Times: Science]
At first I thought this might be some kind of weird work-fare program for animals. But it started me thinking. Watch for the full story tomorrow.

A Treaty Bush Shouldn't 'Unsign'. Somebody in Washington has come up with a bizarre and dangerous idea: to nullify the American signature on the Rome treaty for establishment of an international criminal court. By David J. Scheffer. [New York Times: Opinion]
Are you kidding? Bush never met a treaty he didn’t wipe out. Merika first, baby. Screw all of those smelly foreigners and their antiquated ideas of fair play.

[More Like This WebLog]
Congrats, Cory. Good news for bloggers and WiFi fans alike.

No Subscription for Spam Relief. It's probably not true that responding to spam with a request to stop sending spam will result in more spam, but spam experts still say it's not a good idea. By Joanna Glasner. [Wired News]
To reply or not to reply? That is the question. The FTC claims when it comes to spam, it doesn't make any difference.

Is Human Cloning Already Here? - http://www.gulfnews.com/Articles/news.asp?ArticleID=46275
Last year Italian doctor Severino Antinori was dismissed as a publicity seeking crackpot when he shocked the world by outlining his plans for human cloning. Now a middle east newspaper is reporting a woman is 8 weeks pregnant as a result of Antinori’s human cloning project.
As you might be able to tell from the title of this blog, I wouldn’t find it surprising if Antinori’s claims proved true.
Cheers,
Dusty
