I create learning opportunities and solve knowledge problems for the commerical/investment banking usit of the the largest entities most of you have never heard of--ABN AMRO Bank.

To agument our paltry 2% global name recognition, ABN AMRO is a very large Dutch bank that has probably financed something that you or your family own.  We have had operations all over the world for a very long time--corporate mythology asserts we actually financed the Louisiana Purchase.  Locallly, we own Lasalle Bank provider of your ATM Wildcard.

Before assuming this role, I sold fixed-income investments to the institutional investors you read about in the WSJ or the FT.

I love what I do, but I am frustrated by my current reporting structure and the lack of financial results of my business unit.  We adopted a new strategy about a year ago, and in an attempt to save money, I was formally moved into HR with a global reporting matrix.  Prior to that, I reported directly to our country CEO.
