More evidence of a link between Saddam and al Qaeda. One striking bit of new evidence is that the name Ahmed Hikmat Shakir appears on three captured rosters of officers in Saddam Fedayeen, the elite paramilitary group run by Saddam's son Uday and entrusted with doing much of the regime's dirty work. Our government sources, who have seen translations of the documents, say Shakir is listed with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. This matters because if Shakir was an officer in the Fedayeen, it would establish a direct link between Iraq and the al Qaeda operatives who planned 9/11. Shakir was present at the January 2000 al Qaeda "summit" in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at which the 9/11 attacks were planned.  11:57:29 AM

Islamic Arab militia use 'rape camps' for ethnic cleansing of Sudan In Darfur, Sudan's western-most region, the people remain untouched by last week's peace agreement signed between the country's Islamic government and Christian rebels. Sudanese soldiers and the government-backed Janjaweed militia still terrorise, and at the centre of their campaign of "ethnic cleansing" is a policy of systematic rape designed to drive civilians from their settlements. Despite these human right abuses, Sudan is on the U.N. Human Rights Commission. The UN's own people are reporting the abuses, and yet the Security Council is silent.  Any one want to venture why? 10:51:15 AM

United Nations: In League with Terrorists Part 2 A girl's summer camp was named after Wafa Idris, a woman suicide terrorist.  Beyond the act of naming the summer camps for terrorists, the camps include activities and lectures designed to present the terrorists as role models and heroes for the children, such as visits to their families, discussions about them and more. The camps are under the auspices of the PA Ministry of Youth and Sports and UNICEF is singled out and thanked in news articles for their financial support of the camps. 8:44:55 AM
