CBS News has been had LA Times - It's hard to reach any other conclusion about newly discovered documents that CBS and anchor Dan Rather are defending as revealing the truth about George W. Bush's military service. Despite Rather's statement Monday that the network "believes the documents are authentic," the evidence keeps mounting that they are not. As The Times reported, conservative bloggers detected glaring inconsistencies, such as a Microsoft Word type style. So many other discrepancies have since emerged that it would require a willful suspension of disbelief to take them as merely coincidental.     11:08:21 PM

Dr David Kay's Testimony to the Senate Armed Services Committee detailed the belief that Syria had possesion of Saddams WMD. In April, Jordan's King Abdullah discovered vehicles that reportedly contained chemical weapons. It has also been reported that Sudan had earlier this year ordered the removal of Syrian missiles and WMD.   Now we find out that Syria recently tested chemical weapons on civilians in Sudan’s troubled western Darfur region in June and killed dozens of people. 4:31:09 PM

He has been ordered deported on at least three separate occasions. Yet he and his lawyer have managed to delay his expulsion by launching a succession of appeals. Two federal governments -- the Tories under Brian Mulroney and the Liberals under Jean Chretien -- have been stymied in their efforts to remove him. Now that he appears to have exhausted all avenues of appeal, Mohammad has come up with another excuse why he should stay: At 61, his health is failing -- he suffers from diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, depression, migraines, prostatitis and hepatitis B -- and he is worried he will be unable to find adequate health care if he is deported to Lebanon. 4:13:41 PM
