Post-Dispatch - After the Des Peres 14 Cine closed at night, the box office worker said he took a camcorder into the projection room, turned on the projector and recorded the movie running on the big screen.
He did this a couple of times, he said, recording the recent releases "Bewitched" and "A Perfect Man."
Now, the worker, Curtis Salisbury, 19, of St. Charles, is the first person to be indicted under a federal law enacted this spring that bans copying movies in theaters and distributing them over the Internet.
