NTL: 50Mbps. UK's largest cable company. One of our resident UK readers sends word that the CEO of the UK's biggest cable company (NTL) has announced a 50Mbit product to be commercially trialled by paying customers. According to this earnings report (pdf), the speedy tier should arrive somtime this month.
