The good and bad of moving Radio to the laptop
Obviously, the plan of "I'll write more when Radio is on my iBook" has worked. Moving Radio over to the iBook was a surprisingly odd experience. While at the office, it worked fine -- but my hard drive from my desktop G4 was mounted. When I got home, it went all sorts of crazy. I had to download and reinstall Radio and play a few rounds of synchronization games to get everything working again. I'm not sure how long it took me to do, but it wasn't immediate.
I don't know if my experience was unique. I hope it was. Now, however, there may be no posts from me throughout the day. Why? It's wet outside and I don't drive - typically I walk or bike to work. Plus, I'm planning on going out tonight straight from the office and want my laptop here for the weekend, so I'm likely to just leave it behind today. But, since Radio is desktop web publishing, I can no longer easily post from other machines. To my knowledge anyways. LiveJournal lets you do this, as I'm sure other pure-blogs do. But Radio is a different beast. I'm starting to warm up to it and hope to spend some time playing with it this weekend. But my mild annoyance for the day - can't post from other machines easily.
Maybe it's for the best, I have lots to do today.
