Ezra Pound. "Literature is news that stays news." [Quotes of the Day] [Seb's Open Research]

Software, Hardware, Wetware: My life if not my expertise has been devoted to people and person work. My experience is that there are a few, very few, constancies in human introspective space or in the transactional space of small and more encompassing groups. But, I suppose, one of my points is that people do have constancies as entities, as subsystems, as members of small groups. Those constancies should be accounted for.

Because of my devotion to the improvement of the human condition (however idiosyncratically I define -almost said divine) and because I've put that devotion into practice I've developed some predispositions to believe. To name one, no life-issue based group that I've yet experienced is likely to have more than 1 in five who are technology competent. I would like to believe that 4 in five ( revolving proportion depending on issue) can come to believe that knowledge can be a source of empowerment. If that group is empower itself it can learn to pursue knowledge but must have a general wetware approach that is atechnical which serves as the basis for discourse. The technologist can develop special understandings and skills re the web but must be able to relate those techniques and inquiries and findings to ordinary rhetorical and inductive, deductive knowledge-base building that is rooted in spoken language. I offer this as the hypothetical construct for group that we should learn to enable. It has the broadest application and the greatest likelihood of catalyzing human ascendence.

Now as to the Idea Universe. I believe that Lao Tse, Buddha, Harriet Tubman, Cousteau, Einstein, Wittgenstein, Lincoln, George Bernard Shaw,Georges Sand, Emily Dickinson, John Dewey, Jesus Christ, the Mathmeticians of Arabia, Maimonides, the Sufi's, Germaine Greer, are important teachers of any group or individual seeking to become not only empowered but enlightened. For this we need web-based and accessible universal dictionary, encyclopedia and thesaurus. Accessible from any language. And relatable to thousands of problems of individual and human life.

Given these beliefs I believe that one way of framing group-forming and group-transforming questions is to think in terms of the becoming of an empowerment group, it's individual ignorances, longing, passions and, probably, its initial inabilities to build common people lifting strength from separateness. Perhaps I'm saying that we should analyze a truly worthy problem of becoming (get multiple case studies to start with) rather than pursuing any instance of group formation, transformation and continuity.
