The futility of music copy-protection schemes is revealed [here]. It is laughable to think that the music industry is going to succeed where the software industry has failed. If copy-protection were really possible, Microsoft would have succeeded in implementing it long ago. It's time for the music industry to move forward instead of hanging onto the notion that they are going to preserve their outdated distribution medium.
