This issue has been moving through the U.S. courts for quite a while now, but it is starting to take shape and the result could be surprising. The result: Microsoft could end up losing the Windows trademark [ArsTechnica]. I have no stance on this topic, but I do think it would be funny for Microsoft to lose.
