My trip to Microsoft: I had a great time here at Microsoft. Today we had a contest to build a WS-Router compliant web application with one-way messaging and content-based routing. The prize? A signed commemorative copy of VS.NET given to the first three people to complete the application. I'm not even going to take the shrink wrap off!
I had a great meeting with Keith Ballinger and got to demo my stuff. Quote of the day from that meeting: "You're living the dream!"
I also got to reconnect with the .NET Compact Frameworks guys (now known as Smart Device Extensions). The newest builds are orders of magnitude faster than the last bits I played with. Mike Zintel is da man! Looks like I'm going to have to dust off that PocketPC and start playing with CF again. Can't wait!
Do I sound brainwashed enough? I think they must put something in the food.
