Blake gave me a beautiful Laguiole cork screw as a gift for taking care of Cosmo. It is a beautiful, functional piece of art. I think Blake may have been disappointed that I did not recognize the name, but I hope he understands that my appreciation for how beautiful the crafting despite my unsophistication regarding the brand is an even truer measure of the quality. This makes me want to sell wine to every single table, just to be able to use such a beautiful tool.
Cosmo apparently has new lease on life. Acting like a "big dog" as Blake says. I'm sure some of it was the interaction - I think some of it was just being able to roam about and stretch his big legs a little. Having him in the back yard, with his big bark, made me feel safer. I just wish people would take their dogs in at night. Loki misses having him around. It may be time to get a buddy for him again.
