Bowling for bonding
Warren and I bowl in the local Junior/Adult league every Sunday night. It's an opportunity for us to spend some social time together, and meet some folks we might not otherwise encounter. And have some fun. Some of the teams take the game entirely too seriously, but then they're bowling in the high 200s. Me, I'm happy to break 100 regularly. But lately my average has been climging week by week, and tonight I bowled my all-time high of 149 (and beat Warren 2 out of 3 games), with an average over the three games of 133. Might be time for some lessons--but it's still just a game.
